Nurse Remedial-Refresher Course (May 6 -July 6 2025)

This course is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing for graduate nurses who have been unsuccessful on passing the NCLEX-RN three times and are required to take a remedial course and for nurses that have not practiced in the past five years or have an inactive license.

Graduate nurses must have completed an accredited nursing program or Florida Board of Nursing (FBON) approved nursing program and have met the requirement of the licensure testing by the Florida Board of Nursing. All Applicants should consult the Florida Board of Nursing website if they have any criminal offenses, beyond minor traffic violations, which may limit obtaining Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.

Upcoming Nurse Refresher/Remedial Course

• TENTATIVELY: Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 -  Sunday, July 6th, 2025

• The clinical days/lab skills days/simulation skills days, will total 96 hours. a more complete schedule will be provided in the first lecture class. 

• Summer 2025 Term- Tuesday and Wednesday Lecture classes will be held 8:30-5pm (tentative). The start date is Tuesday May 6th 8:30-5:30pm. TENTATIVE lab dates: May 16, May 23 & May 30 8:30-5pm.

• The Projected Dates for Clinical rotation/ Lab days will be held TENTATIVELY June 6 -July 20 Friday , Saturday or Sundays 12-hr shifts 7:00 am-7:00 pm. Schedule depends on available of our Clinical Partners. The course will be held on FSW Lee Campus.
