Teen Camp: Science: Bioinformatics & DNA Technology

 

This is a HALF DAY camp running from 1:00pm - 4:00pm

 

Location: Florida SouthWestern Lee Campus

Duration: Week 2, July 20-24, 2026

 

This hands-on science camp introduces students to DNA structure, modern DNA technologies, and how biological data is analyzed using computational tools. Students will explore genetics, sequencing concepts, and real-world datasets to understand how bioinformatics is used in medicine, research, and biotechnology.

 

Please note: Lunch is not included. You're welcome to bring your own lunch or purchase a meal from the café in Building S, which is open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 2 PM.
