Teen Camp: CEO Academy: Launching your Entrepreneurial Idea

This is a FULL DAY camp running from 9:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Florida SouthWestern Lee Campus

Duration: Week 1, July 07-11, 2025

This course will go through the process of deciding on a business idea, working through the start-up process, preparing the relevant documents and steps that are needed to complete this process, and how you pitch a business idea for funding.

The students will work in an immersive environment where the topics are presented as the students are working on operationalization in a team environment. They will prepare a final presentation for the business idea and pitch it to a panel of “Sharks” that will review their pitch and decide who has the best business to start in SW Florida. This course will cover material and examples from the regional business ecosystem and will help students see the steps that go into launching a desirable business.

Please note: Lunch is not included. You’re welcome to bring your own lunch or purchase a meal from the FSW Cafeteria, open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
